Dad, what did you do in the war?

Thanks to Pat Ainger for her talk about what some of her family did in World War 1 and 2.  Pat is a former history teacher who had researched the lives of her grandfather in World War 1 and her husband's father in World War 2 .  Her talk was based on her personal family research with the group.  A very interesting and emotional talk.  Many thanks.

The Ukulele Band "What no cake" Friday 21st June 2019

We loved singing along to the sounds of the 60's, the Beatles and listening to some poetry.  A thoroughly happy morning spent with Ukulele's of all sorts - tenor ukulele's, banjolele's, bass ukulele's and concert ukulele's.  My favourite song was 'We all live in a yellow submarine' accompanied by Graham in a face mask, snorkel, bubble
    machine, arm bands and fishing rod!

Snape, Dunwich and Southwold Coach Trip Wednesday 26th June 2019

Where do we meet?

Meet at St John's Church, Cauldwell Hall Rd, Ipswich IP4 4QE.

What time? 

10 am  in the church car park.  You may park your cars in the church car park while on the trip.  

What is the itinerary?

We will journey to Snape where we will have tea/coffee and look around the shops.  Then we will go to Dunwich where we will have a fish and chip lunch.  After this we will visit Southwold and walk along the prom.  The coach will return to Ipswich at approximately 5pm.

How much does this cost?

The coach is free for members, non members can come at a cost of £5 per person.  You will need to purchase your own fish and chips and refreshments.

Are there any spaces left on the coach?
